Hip Hop Canada has posted an interview with Conscience. "HipHopCanada: What drives you to stay in a business that is rarely profitable and highly competitive? Conscience: Passion. Love. Support. Relationships. It starts with passion and develops into love for everything you’re involved in. Support from the people that believe in you, give you that extra push to help overcome obstacles..." Paul Meara has posted an interview with Kool Keith about "The Rebirth of Detroit" in which our very own Lyndsay Johnston is mentioned in. "When I got the song, I went into the studio and wrote the verse for it. I wrote two verses and then threw [Lyndsay Johnston] on it and the rest was like, "Wow we just got the record, and it was phenomenal." I don't usually write on everybody's stuff and I'm always particular but when he told me who it was, I was like, "Alright, I'm gonna do it, 'cause you know it's something very special." The Dharma of Dope has posted the following review of Conscience's concert with KRS-One in Winnipeg, MB. "These three KILLED IT, and (I can only hope) earned the respect of every true Hip Hop fan inside that place. Shunning the commercial and embracing the most soulful and wise aspects of Hip Hop, Noetic and Stokes craft the kind of Hip Hop the culture is largely missing out on these days, and along with the absolutely incredible voice of Lyndsay Johnston, this act is something truly un-sleep-on-able."
